Procedure
Event:

Maximum Points
The maximum number of points that can be achieved per sport discipline is 1000 points (which corresponds to the best in the respective sport).

Disciplines
There are a total of up to 33 sports diciplines available, which can be completed in several events throughout the year. Individual sports disciplines can be offered only once or several times.

Disciplines
For the Universal Marathon, 20 sports must be completed. Every participant is allowed to take part in all sports disciplines. Only the 20 best results count. All other results are deleted results.

Disciplines
In contrast to the Universale Marathon, only 10 sports have to be completed in the Universale, i.e. the Universale Original. Every participant is allowed to take part in all sports. However, at least 7 of the evaluated disciplines must come from different groups (exception: each sport marked as a special discipline is recognized as a sport from its own group). Only the 10 best results count. All other results are deleted results.

Choice of Sports Groups
In contrast to the Universale Marathon, only 10 sports disciplines have to be completed in the Universale, i.e. the Universale Original. Every participant is allowed to take part in all sports. However, at least 7 of the evaluated disciplines must come from different groups (exception: each sports dicipline marked as a special discipline is recognized as a sports discipline of its own group). Only the 10 best results count. All other results are deleted results.

Best 20 or 10 results
In the Universal Marathon only the best 20 results are counted. This results in a maximum possible number of points of 20,000 points. In the (normal, original) Universale, only the best 10 results are counted. This results in a maximum possible number of points of 10,000 points. With the universal (normal) the group rule applies.

Choice of sports
After the choice of 7 sports discilpines from 7 different groups, all other sports from all available sports may be selected.

Groups Special Rule
Ignoring the sports groups - free choice: The following sports may ALWAYS be selected (without having to pay attention to the group distribution key): Sprinttriathlon, Military obstacle course, Obstacle Swimming, 100 m freestyle, track diving, 2000 m run (valid as a co-discipline / substitute discipline for the 1500 m of the decathlon), 100 m sprint, long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin throw. Additionally selected sports have to follow the distribution rules again.

Not all sports
Each participant is free to participate in less than 10 sports and to calculate their fitness levels from the lower number of sports. In such cases, participants automatically participate in the groups with the least number of sports. Overall victory or high placement in the Universale may be unlikely, but theoretically a choice of 9 higher-performance disciplines could be a strategic option.

Performance Curve
Each athletic achievement is represented as a percentage value and evaluated over a performance curve as appropriate proportion of maximally 1000 points.

Few chosen Sports
Each participant is free to participate in less than 10 sports and to calculate their fitness levels from the lower number of sports. In such cases, participants automatically participate in the groups with the least number of sports. Overall victory or high placement in the Universale may be unlikely, but theoretically a choice of 9 higher-performance disciplines could be a strategic option.

Bad Result
A bad result in a sport is neither a problem nor a shame for a wider choice of sports (strike-out result). Each participant may and should also dare to unknown sports.

Even groups can choose from a choice of fewer than 10 sports and are then scored accordingly.

Safety
It is absolutely necessary that everyone follows the safety rules at the sports places and the rules of fairness.

Standard Combination
There is a combination of 12 sports as a standard combination for the Universal, which may be seen as a basic proposal, but of course in each form individually changed, or can be adapted to their own ideas.

Ranking
All scores are basically the overall rating in which all participants compete automatically. There is no own men's rating, but in addition a women's ranking and own special ratings in the context of age groups and own group ratings.

Objectives
The objectives of the Universals are diverse, with the fun of the sport and the competition experience in the foreground, but at the same time the health aspects and accompanying effects should be considered and promoted.
